Neighborhood Watch Update – Kickoff Summary, Upcoming Signage
It’s official! We now have a Neighborhood Watch for the Jack Fisher Park Neighborhood Association. We held our first meeting as a kickoff on May 16 and saw a great turnout. As part of this kickoff meeting, our representative from the Santa Ana Police Department was on hand to share some helpful tips and suggestions for the group. We were also able to identify some key areas of interest for the neighborhood. Since then, we met again on June 29 to learn more about how to set up a surveillance camera system. As part of the Neighborhood Watch application, the City will provide us with 13 Neighborhood Watch signs to strategically place around the neighborhood. As a group, we settled on neighborhood entrances as well as known “hot spots” for activity. The City will install these signs within the next 6-10 weeks, assuming everything meets their guidelines, so look out for the new signs soon. Please see the map on the back page for locations and direction of signs. We’re always looking for more folks to participate. If you are interested in joining the Neighborhood Watch group, please reach out to our Block Captain, Ryan Murphy, via email at [email protected]. Be on the lookout for more updates.

We’d love to keep in touch with you whenever something important to the neighborhood can be shared. Just provide your name, street address and email address to start!
