The birds are fluttering their wings. The bugs are buzzing and the flowers are popping. As the Spring season opens we are returned to days filled with sunshine, showers and Cadbury egg commercials. Perhaps it is the longer days that also reminded us of the clutter and junk we have accumulated since last Spring. Time to clean up. This is usually the time that I seem to find time to hide ditch fix things around the house and my wife is stuck excited to clean things up. Good thing we had our annual dumpster day. All dumpsters were filled to the top with all the….stuff we no longer need or want.
Many neighbors took advantage of the day by tossing their piles of unwanted stuff while others found treasures to recycle. Thanks for the box of drywall screws! Thanks to those that spent their Saturday morning cleaning up and making this a big success. Thanks to the city of Santa Ana for providing the dumpsters and the Jack Fisher board members for arranging the event. Also, a big THANKS to those that allowed us to place the dumpsters in their front yard. Now go out there and start hoarding for next time.
